It’s been a culture in this century as some women smoke, drink. Heavy smokers have more hot flushes than women who don’t smoke or drink.
Post menopause many women are at a risk of getting breast cancer. It is said that women who consume alcohol and become addict to it face this ill fate. Please cut alcohol for a better future.
Wear light weight clothes. Jumpers, cardigans will do. This helps when you get hot flushes. Wear clothes that keep away moisture at night which help you to sleep.
There needs to be controlled on air temperature. Open window, fan are useful than Air conditioner when you sleep or in the day.
Always carry a bottle of ice water or cold lime juice with you. Keep it aside when you sleep. It helps keep the body temperature down.
Avoid spicy food, alcohol, caffeine or even coffee as it might trigger hot flushes in you.

Treatment For Excessive Sweating Or Hot Flushes
Best home treatment is to follow a healthy lifestyle. Do bring in changes to your diet plan. Hot flushes or Excessive sweating are signs to indicate that your body is changing. It is a must to stay healthy as it will be better for your bones, heart before or after or even during menopause.
Talk to your doctor regarding the treatment. It isn’t easy for all women for changing their lifestyle easily. Hormone Replacement Therapy(HRT) treats hot flushes easily. It is a risky treatment though as some women faced the risk of heart diseases, cancer, stroke, etc.
HRT is advisable to some women below the age of 60 as it helps with symptoms of menopause such as vaginal dryness. Suppose if HRT is recommended use it for a short while. Opt for a lowest possible dose which will work on your hot flushes.
Black cohosh, salvia are traditional herbal remedies used to cure hot flushes or symptoms of menopause. Any medication will have its side effects. Do consult a doctor before using any remedies. Avoid if you are allergic or find any side effects on you.
Menopause is another stage of life for a woman. It need not be a negative time for menopause. Do be prepared for facing it.
