- Take a tube socks and some dry uncooked rice, oats or beans
- Fill the socks with rice/beans/oats. Fill ¾ the of the socks.

- Microwave it for 30 sec or so as long as it gets warm and not hot.

- Then let the water cool down

The best way if you do not want to do much work in making a hot compress is to dip a clean cloth in warm water and place it on your eyes ad it is preferable if you lie down relaxing your whole body and eyes.
If we do not have the access to anything to heat up the cloth then one simple method which will be helpful is take a handkerchief but make sure it is clean, blow hot air from your mouth on the handkerchief and put it on your eye. It can give you relief for the time being.
Rubbing your hands and placing them on your eyes is also one way to relax your eye since we get the heat from our palm.
