You can take as much vegetable you want to make. This is the basic 1 bowl shirazi salad.
- 3 small cucumbers
- 1 big tomato
- 1 small onion
- 1-2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley (optional )
- 1/2 teaspoon dried mint
- 4-6 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
- olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
1.Cut small pieces of tomato, cucumbers and onions. Try to chop them in equal sizes to make it look good.
2.Mix the chopped ingredients with dried ground mint, freshly squeezed lemon juice, chopped parsley( if using) olive oil, salt, and pepper.
3.Chill for 30 minutes to an hour in the fridge.
4.This salad is made shortly before serving because lime juice and olive oil does not taste good after kept for long time.
