You have to put it in your auditory canal and bring out the wax by poking slowly into your ears. It seems an easy and affordable way to provide a healthy ear.
But is it true?
Are cotton swabs doing well to your ears?
Cotton swabs are useful to clean the outer canal but not at all useful to clean the inner circle of your ears as they directly poke on your eardrums and might damage them or create them which will eventually result in loss of hearing.
It also pushes the wax deeper in into your ears and also result in jamming of ears. If there is a hole present in your ears, then the wax might get into it and cause infections and a lot of pain.
The strands of cotton also might get attached to the ear wax and produce a tingling sensation which will make you itch your ears quite often. Itching your ears can lead to loss of hearing because of damage to the auditory canal.
