- Two teaspoons of Chana dal
- Two teaspoons of Urad Dal
- ½ teaspoons of Rai
- ½ teaspoons cumin seeds
- A pinch of asafoetida

- Heat a pan and add one tablespoon of oil, then add mustard seeds and cumin seeds in it and sauté them.
