Brighten your drinks by putting twists of the peel into ice cubes. They are always perfect for summer parties.
You can go for using a vegetable peeler or knife to make long strips cut away from the white pith, as it is quite bitter in taste. They can be frozen and used later.

You can place small pieces of lemon peels along thresholds, door entrances, window sills or near the holes from where ants lurk out. They are very efficient against roaches and fleas.

If you place a lemon peel in your fridge, then it absorbs the smell and brings a citrus scent.
3. Sanitize Your Cutting Board
Lemon’s natural acidity provides great antibacterial properties to home cleaning. Clean your cutting boards and then rub the surface of the board with half a lemon. Leave it as it is for a couple of minutes before you rinse the board.

You can add lemon peels to your dishwasher and deodorize it.
5. Clean Your Microwave
Add lemon rinds to a microwave-safe bowl filled halfway with water. Then, you need to cook on high for five minutes.
Allow the water to boil and the steam to condense on the walls and tops of the oven.
