What is Structured Water?

First off, what is structured water? In simple terms, it is water that hasn’t been “broken down” or treated, such as the water we get in our taps. Structured water is water that is in its most natural form and therefore offers the best benefits.

Benefits of Structured Water

While there is still a lot of room for research and discovery, there have been several studies conducted that show the benefits of drinking structured water regularly.

Optimal Hydration

One thing that many structured water enthusiasts tend to believe is that it provides better hydration compared to regular water. The structure of the water allows for better and more effective absorption into our systems, making us feel hydrated quicker.

Weight Management

Water is already one of the best things you can ingest to lose and maintain weight. It can help you feel full, improves digestion, and also helps rid your body of waste and toxins through going to the bathroom and perspiration.

Considering that structured water can enter your system quicker and more efficiently, it can perform these weight management tasks even better than if you were drinking regular water, especially if you are drinking the recommended amount of water each day.

Increase in Detoxification

Much like how water is incredible at removing waste from the body, it is also important when it comes to keeping the body free of excess toxins. Once again, because of how effectively structured water can enter your system, it is far better at detoxifying the body and your cells.

Improved Absorption of Minerals, Vitamins, etc

The absorption of minerals and vitamins is crucial to bodily function, especially on a cellular level. While water is fairly effective at doing this, structured water is even better. Structured water tends to be better at deep-cell hydration and therefore offers superior mineral absorption as well.

Cartilage & Disc Regeneration

Water is essential for two main reasons when it comes to cartilage and your discs. The first is that water is needed to keep your discs and joints saturated and stop them from rubbing against each other, causing pain and long-term harm.

Another important aspect is that discs and cartilage do not do their job properly in an acidic environment, and structured water is far better and creating a healthy alkaline level.

Cell Recovery

Water is already one of the most important factors in creating and repairing the cells in your body. Those who are properly hydrated tend to recover from injuries and wounds quicker, as water helps healthy cells move around the body at a faster and more efficient rate.

Cells are able to use the energy given to them by structured water to not only help with their own recovery but help with their performance within the body as well.

Types of Structured Water

Within structured water, there are different types. Each of these has its own unique properties but essentially helps the body in similar ways.

EZ Water

EZ water, or exclusive zone water, is a water that is characterized by having a negative charge, its ability to exclude solutes, and its high density. EZ water is studied across the globe, with many experts showing its benefits.

Hexagonal Water

Hexagonal water is exactly what it says on the can; it is a type of water that has hexagonal shapes within it. This type of water has been shown to be superior at nutrient and mineral absorption, as well as better hydration.

Energized Water

Energized water is water that has been exposed to something that has increased the energy levels of the water. This can either be done through vibrations, sunlight (one of the most common methods), or adding gemstones or other types of minerals. Many people opt for energized water as it can be created at home with few resources and knowledge.

How to Make Structured Water

When it comes to making your own structured water, there are a few methods you can use; three of the most popular methods are using copper, vortexing, and certain crystals and gemstones.

Copper

Copper, or specifically a copper plate, is a common way of creating structured water. The method is simple; you place a piece of copper, typically a copper plate, into a container of water, and let it sit for a few hours or overnight.

The thinking behind this is that the copper will impart its electrons into the water, and these electrons will then rearrange the molecules of the water, creating structured water.

Vortexing

Creating a vortex, either by hand or using a device, is intended to spin the water at such a rate that the molecules inside it “fix” themselves. This method, while it can be done by hand, is typically done best with a vortexing device.

Crystals & Gemstones

Finally, you can use gemstones and minerals to structure your water. Gemstones vibrate at varying frequencies, and these vibrations help to align the molecules in the water.
