    Functioning Of Immune System

    The main function of our immune system is to guard us against infectious diseases. Any failure or discrepancies in its functioning will result in vulnerability to diseases. The immune system comprises of cells of types T-cells and B-cells. The T-cells or lymphocytes fend off foreign materials which are causing the illness. While the B-cells generate antibodies to counter-attack the harmful foreign materials. Thereby, the immune cells do a great deal of work in removing the harmful molecules from the body. This system also repairs the damage caused by these foreign molecules. This way they ensure complete and thorough recovery.

    How Can You Improve The Efficiency Of Your Immune System?

    Now, we will read about different and simple tips to build a strong immune system.

    1. Avoid Junk Food & Sugar

    High intake of white sugar and junk foods can come in the way of white blood cells while they are fighting an infection.

    Fact shows that eating about 25 teaspoonfuls of sugar can paralyze 92% of the white blood cells, and the body remains immunity less for about 5 hours.

    A coke bottle contains about 8-10 teaspoonful of white sugar.

    So, minimize the intake of junk food as much as possible as they can hinder the functioning of the immunity system of the body.

    2. Avoid Eating Between Meals

    Studies suggest that more the frequency of eating snacks in between meals, the more is the risk of getting colon cancer.

    Now the danger of getting cancer significantly increases with the decrease of the efficiency of the immunity system.

    So avoid taking snacks in between meals as much as possible.

    3. Drink Carrot Juice Daily

    Carrots are the great source of vitamin A and carrot juice should be taken 20-30 minutes before your meal.

    A Recent study shows that vitamin A is the primary requirement for the body’s immunity system to fight both cancer and aids.

    When we take into account carcinogens, this particular vitamin has the capability of inhibiting the growth of both non-malignant and malignant tumors.

    4. Drink Sufficient Water

    Make it a point to drink at least 8-10 glasses per day.

    And if you’re working under the sun and perspiring a lot, then your body requires the lot more amount of water; At least, 4-5 glasses more than the normal requirement.

    Try avoiding distilled water or reverse osmosis water because they don’t contain any minerals.

    Take minimum half an hour of sunbath every day 1. If you have the light complexion, slowly increase the timing of sunbath from 5 minutes to half an hour.

    Sunlight is an excellent stimulant for the production of white blood cells and also interferon.

    Interferon can work amazingly in a treatment of cancer.

    Try to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every day. The body needs time to repair and rebuild.

    The earlier you will go to bed the better. If you go to sleep two hours before midnight, it’s worth four hours.

    You might not know, but stress is the main reason for many psychological and physical problems.

    Mind significantly affects the body. Many patients who suffer from cancer or aids report a lot of the stress from which they’re undergoing.

    If you are suffering from any guilt, anger, hatred then just let it go. It’s not worth to keep it in your head; it will destroy you.

    You should exercise daily2. If possible, do your workouts outdoors instead of indoors because that will expose your body to plenty amount of oxygen.

    The fact is cancerous cells cannot withstand oxygen. If you do not have enough strength, start with 5 minutes workout and then slowly increase the time.
