To help you see in dim light vitamin D is important. It has the needed pigments which are vital for the photoreceptors in your eyes and these photoreceptors help you to see in dim light.To help you overcome this deficiency eat sufficient amount of eggs, green leafy and orange vegetables.

6. Numb Feet, Swollen Tongue, Rapid Heartbeat, Joint Pain Or Weakness

Numb tinkling feet or swollen tongue are a result of deficiency vitamin B12. This vitamin is important as it nourishes the nerves which help to balance and feel.

Also if you feel inflammation of the tongue and symptoms of muscles weakness, shortness of breath, severe joint pain and staggering, increase your vitamin B12 intake.

All of the above are signs you should look for and attend to immediately. Vitamin deficiency is nothing to be scared of. It is just your body’s way of telling you to pay little extra attention to the food you eat.

Generally, these symptoms disappear when the needed amount of vitamins are provided to the body. Consult your doctor if these signs persist over a long time.
