Breasts are truly the symbol of beauty, pride, and femininity of a woman.

It is perfectly normal to worry about your breasts as they make you confident and improves your personality. But before we go further, there are few things which you need to know.

First, breast sagging is a normal process which happens to every woman eventually and second, we need to know whether it’s truly breast sagging or just a misconception.

There are several reasons of breast sagging such as pregnancy, smoking, excessive exercise, etc.

While we can’t avoid the natural process of breast sagging, what we can do is adopting different ways and techniques so that we can avoid premature breast sagging or slow down the process.

What Exactly Is Breast Sagging?

Breast sagging is a natural cause which mainly happens due to gravity. Breasts do not have muscles in them, so when gravity pulls them down, the ligaments present in them get stretched and  thus the dropping of the breasts occur.

The sagging happens more in the case of larger breasts as compared to small breasts as the gravity pulls them down more.

If you think that you have breast sagging just by comparing with those of supermodels,  you might be wrong.

Breast sagging is not a disease, it’s nothing more than a couple of stretch marks or something which makes your breasts look odd in a way which isn’t quite noticeable to the outside world or the way we perceive the world is feeling about it.

Be rest assured, it’s completely normal.

What has Causes Breast Sagging?

1. Pregnancy:

It is the most common cause of breast sagging. Remember, breast sagging happens because of the changes which happen during pregnancy and not because of breastfeeding. So, don’t stop breastfeeding your child for apparently no reason.

Another reason of breast sagging is the breast involution process. During breast involution, the milk, making system inside the breasts shrinks as it is not needed anymore.

This happens when a woman doesn’t breastfeed at all or during Menopause and the breasts start to look hollow and empty.

2. Losing Weight:

When you start to lose weight, the fat which is present in your breasts disappears. The tissue and ligament and tissues present in your breasts don’t contract accordingly, thus giving an empty feeling to them and they look “sagged”.

3. Gaining Weight:

Not only losing weight but also gaining weight can cause breast sagging. Because of the excessive weight of the breasts, they get pulled down by gravity and cannot remain intact and may eventually look sagged.

4. Excessive Exercise or Sports:

When you do a lot of exercises or go for outdoor sports, your breasts bounce quite a lot.  In the due course of time, the tissue in the breasts gets stretched, and breast sagging occurs.

5. Smoking:

Excessive consumption of nicotine or even alcohol can cause the weakening of the skin because of the different dangerous ingredients which are present in them and cause premature breast sagging.

6. Diseases:

Some of the serious diseases such as Tuberculosis or Breast cancer can also cause a weakening of the cells. As a result, the cells and the tissues are not able to hold the breasts intact, and the breasts sag and fall.

7. Aging:

This is one of the most common and natural causes of breast sagging which happens to almost all women. Women in their thirties start showing signs of aging and during that time some woman starts to report about breast sagging.

Breast sagging can happen to teen girls also. In short, it can happen at any age and at any time and can happen to any to any normal woman.
